Hi I'm new to this type of thing, but I can't find the information I need and the dealership keeps cutting me out of the loop on whats wrong with my car. I drive a 2007 Q7 3.6 quattro, 38,000 miles. I was on the highway and the EPC and engine malfunction light both turned on. My car would not accelerate over 300rpms, and when I tried to push it, it would automatically down shift from 6th to 2nd gear. Putting the car into sport mode and manual didn't seem to help. The dealership told me they had to remove my engine to determine the problem and its since been four days and no updates on the car. Can anyone please help? Confused?

 

helo i think this is comon with audi whenever the engine management has a fault the engine will not acelerate,but the questions is have you diagnos the car? if not i think you should look for where to diagnos it first,forget about the dealer story they re always like that.
