I'm in need of some help becoming home last night I started receiving a flashing engine light when I can to stops. I put the clutch in and the engine would climb to between 2000 - 3000 Rpms. When I would take off it would settle out and the light would go solid bathos happened at 5 different traffic lights. Is this something that is common in these models?

Where do I start with figuring out the issue?
