flashing check engine light

After hard acceleration what does it mean if the check engine light flashes then goes off?

flashing light= not good (really not good)

Run Vag for Fault codes immediately ..if you don't have it take it to the dealer

Are you sure it's engine light...flashing? or is it the traction control light??

If you have a flashing CEL DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR ANYMORE. Get it scanned for fault codes or flatbed it to the dealership/mechanic.
