My head lights (factory xenon) are really bright when I first turn them on but a few minutes later they become dim and only illuminate about 5 feet ahead of me. I had the bulbs replaced and that has not made a difference. Anyone have any ideas why or has anyone had the same problem? Thanks

Btw my car is a 2003 A4 3.0

 

sounds like the ballasts are going. they usually dont hold a constant charge or flicker when they start to go.
