HELP! Electrical problems fuses keep blowing
Like the post says: everytime I put a fuse in the radio it pops as soon as I put it in.
Here the thing, my wife broke down and needed a boost. Some yahoo gave her a boost and crossed the terminals.
The radio went dead, not safe mode but dead. Anyone know what'as wrong what's the cure?
It's a 2001 Audi TT quattro

RE: HELP! Electrical problems fuses keep blowing
your wife broke down is the first problem ( why ) did the car have a problem, did you fit something like a radio??.
every time you fit a fuse and it blows means you have a ground problem or something wasn't fitted right

RE: HELP! Electrical problems fuses keep blowing
Old battery died , bosted car eveything but the radio worked great.
Put in a new battery car started great bought some fuses as the one for the radio was blown and when I put in a new one pop! then tried again pop!
Are there fuseable links under the hood?
I think it's because it was boosted with the wires reversed
