I am looking for a 2.8l 30v for my a4 that i can rebuild, i cant find much, when i do the people ask for my engine code and i cant find it, where is it?

 

look on the cylinder heads in the front. there should be what looks like a big tab sticking out. there will be 3 letters on it this will be yu motor code. if you don't find it there look in the tunk where the spare tire is. I have herd that you can find it there as well
