I lost my only key. Where can i find my fcc code?
I heard it may be on the ignition cylinder. Is that true? And if it isn't has anyone ever done this? What is the cheapest way to go about driving my baby again? I have a 01 A6 2.7T. Thanks in advance

The easiest thing to do at this point is write down your VIN and head to the dealer to have them order you a new key. Yes you might save a few bucks by trying to get one from another source, but the time you will waste just means more time withour your Audi.
On second thought....have them order you two. Consider the cost a lesson learned, and if you absolutely must try to save a few bucks get one remote and one valet key.
