Default how do i flush the oil from my cooling system?

ok, so im pretty sure that the substance in my cooling system is oil, since it wont mix with water, anyone have any tricks for flushing it out? can i put a little soap in there?
also, is there a way to bleed air from the system while doing all this, or do i just leave the cap off the reservoir?
thanks
Andy

after reading your thread thats a bummer man. doesnt sound well maintained to me. but i would say your best bet is to do what you said. fill run drain repeat. all though no simple grean you dont want to contaminate you cooling system any more than it already is

i wouldnt take it to a shop cuz they just take old out and put new in. you need to do it several times. my buddy had the same problem on a blazer we had a machine and we had to flush it a good 10 times befor it was finally clean enough to put coolent in

have fun
