So I bought a set of zimmerman cross drilled rotors and on my back ones the holes were opposite making for a right and a left one but on my front 2 they are both the same. I just emailed the guy and he told me that they are interchangeable. Is this guy just full of bs and doesnt want me to return my product?

 

he is correct they are interchangable. some more expensive ones will be directional slotted but it makes little difference.

 

really? Every picture I have scene the holes are pointed to the rear.

Those are just directional drillings - my A8 PowerStop rotors on my A4 are the same way. However, the deal with such rotors is that they have the drillings for cooling - it doesn't matter which way the drillings go, as ghost6303 said. Long as they're there, they do the job regardless of which way the drillings are running.
