installing headlights

installing headlights
I bought a 99 a4t and the guy gave me upgraded headlights for it. I tried putting them in but they dont fit right. Should i have to cut or grind anything down or should they just slip right in?

If they're the one-piece headlights from the 99.5 and up model, they won't fit and you should just send them to me
Just kidding - yes you do have to grind the fenders a little. There's a tech article, I believe it's on here in the DIY section, and it should also be on audiworld.com.
