Interior of car trunk release--

I recently purchased a 2013 Audi A 5 Premium Convertible.

The trunk can be opened unlocked) with the key fob and from inside the trunk itself.

My question is there a switch / button that can be pushed inside the car to unlock / release trunk lid?

yes.
there is a valet button inside the glove box that may have been pressed ...otherwise go into the MMI ----> car -----> central locking and look at the trunk options
