Intermittent fault with MK11!

Intermittent fault with MK11!
Hi there, new to the forum and would appreciate your help!
My girlfriends tt has a intermittent fault which is seemly hard to work out!
Some days it works fine, some days you'll start it from cold and it wont fire untill about 10-15 seconds, then the 'EPC' light shows you and the car starts hunting,
So you turn the car off and try again and it starts fine with no lights, still sometimes hunting
this problem happens from cold and also when warm after driving.
The car has had crank and cam shaft sensor changed a few months back, you can hear the fuel pump priming when the ignition starts,
have had two fault codes last time i checked, one been something about the cat converter, one been about the ignition but once cleared, never came back and problem still exists, i goggled both codes when they happened and no one seemed wiser on the internet.
