OK first let me say I am sorry if this was already answered, but I have looked at youtube, many forums and the web and apparently this is some hidden top secret thing... LOL

I just got an A4 2008 S Series without navigation and without a cd changer...

I notice there is a iPod Doc in the glove box (dont really care if it is the best or not)

When I plug my iPod in nothing happens... cant figure out how to get it to be seen, BUT I have read and was told at a tune of 150$ that if you have satellite (which I do just no subscription) that you can not have both... WOW that is really stupid... nonetheless I want my iPod to work... SOOOOO

how do you make this switch obv. the dealers know... do you take out the radio with the keys and do something?

Please someone help... I can't find an answer anywhere...

p.s. love the antiquated phone dock... lol i guess it will not be accepting my Droid3 anytime soon...
