Just purchased a 2002 Audi A4 - Issues...
Hey everyone, new Audi owner here.
Just purchased an Audi A4 2002 over the weekend. The car is absolutely beautiful, inside and out. And then you get under the hood.
So when I first purchased it, I noticed this strange feeling with the transmission. It only happened sometimes, but after reversing out of a spot, I'd put it in drive, and it wouldn't move. If I hit the gas, it'd do a real sudden jerk, and everything would be fine. This would also happen when I came to a complete stop.
So, I brought it to a different mechanic to have them take an hour to totally look over the car. They said that everything looked great, new break pads, no leakages, etc. They said the feeling of the jerk is because I wasn't used to driving the car, and I wasn't waiting long enough to hit the gas (because of the flyby wire).
The next day I was driving home from work and saw that the check engine light came on. It made me worried so I called the mechanic who looked it over, and let him know that the check engine light came on, and I was still feeling the odd feeling of the jerkiness, so I let them know I want it checked out again.
This time, they hooked it up to the diagnostics system, and quite a few codes came out.

When I brought it back to the used car dealership I purchased it from, and they said they'd fix everything no problem, but also mentioned that the last two is probably the cause of all the other issues I'm having. Could this be true?
