Default Lifting a cabriolet

I need to get all the way under the car to adjust the parking brake cable. The lift points are so small that it is difficult to jack the car and then get a tall jack stand under the lift point. Easy to do if you just want the wheels off the ground but I need more room. I'm hesitant to jack the car from the siderail in front of the lift points as there appears to be spots where this has been done before and slightly misshapen the metal. Short of taking it to a shop to lift it are there any suggestions?

right behind the front wheel you will see a seam were 2 plastic pecies meet. just inside of the lift point get a board to go over that seam from drive side to passenger side direction and lift with the jack there thats how we do it at our shop you might hear one or two little pops any thing loud or more repostion in that area you can also try the front cross brace mount looks like a little bubble near the tranny

Use a block of wood and lift right on the bottom of the rear diff. That should give you plenty of access to the adjustments.
