I replace the drivers door on a 2018 Audi A4 after an accident. After getting everything back together the door would not unlock from the fob or the handle while holding the key. I contacted Audi and they said I should replace the latch/actuator which I did with a new one from the dealer. The fob would now work but unlocking from using the door handle while holding the key fob worked intermittently. I had the car scanned with a VAG scanner and it came back with a code that said that the lock sensor in the handle had been unplugged (which it was and replaced also when the door was replaced). He cleared the code and tried it several times with no issue. Within a couple of hours the problem was back. Any ideas? Thank you in advance

 

Did you figure out the issue. My Q7 2017 is having intermittent unlocking issues on the drivers door from the outside. Was going to replace the actuator at high expense....
