So I just got an Audi A4, right. I loved the looks, I loved the quattro, I loved the drive and I loved the class. The problem is my Audi hasnt warmed up to me yet.

I got her, changed the oil, air filter, changed some of the vacuum lines ( I thought they were leaking), I seafoamed her twice, and Im about to change her spark plugs. The problem is that she loves that gas, her fuel economy is around 13-14 in the city. I live in Boston and we're used to stop and go lights but thats still pretty low. She also has a slightly rough idle AND her gas pedal vibrates. Theres a loud revving noise from the rear which persists even when Im coasting... Any suggestions guys?

Oh, I hear a hissing noise after I shut her down; located it to AC pipes so disregarded it totally.

 

What car and engine? The noise could be a plugged fuel filter, which could also be the source of the poor fuel mileage.

 

Its an A4 1997. Which noise are you talking about? The hissing noise?

 

Oh and its a 2.8 quattro
