Car Starts, runs for 2 seconds then runs really rough then dies.

I have a problem with my 99 a4 1.8t...it will start up and idle but once i rev it, it bogs down and stalls, i plugged the ecu comp in and it read that the injector circuits are stuck open on all 4 cylinders...what do you think the problem could be ????...thanks for any help

Try disconnecting the mass air flow sensor & see if changes the way it runs at all.
Found 3 jiffy lube garbage air filters causing mass air flow sensor failures so far this year. They do not fit properly in the air filter housing & let unfiltered air in.

Could also be a damaged harness/wiring if unplugging the MAF doesn't work for you, check all the wires to the injectors. Could be just one of the injector wires and it would cause that.

Are you getting any other codes?

Have you got a blow off? if so, unplug the vacuum line leading to it and start the car up again and give it a few revs and see how it reacts. Problem is probably related to a loss of air somewhere causing it to run rich and stall.

I had a similar issue with my 1996 a4 V6 and after 5 months of troubleshooting I finally replaced the MAF sensor ($96 on amazon) and it runs like a dream.
