Default loose (vacuum) hose? What is is and how to secure it. Help?

All of the sudden I started to get a really rough idle and stalling when I stopped.. Miss fire and then CEL came on... I searched the fourms and thought it sounded like the coil packs, so I replaced all 4, and still had the same problem. I looked around (probably should of did that first) and noticed this hose was off a little and pushed it on and and everything was all better but I can not get it to stay connected.. its fine for awhile and then will come loose and everything starts over until I push it back together. Its seems like it is supposed to snap together but it wont, cant see where there would be any clips or anything. And to top it off I dont know what it is so I cant ask.

So if anyone knows what this is and how to secure it that would really help me out.

Thanks in advanced

brian
