first off i run royal purple in all my cars so thats not the issue here but rather are there any other oil filters that could be used for my 01 b5 1.8t ie k&n mobil 1 filters, really dont want to drive 1.5 for filters every two months to the dealer,secondly who here as run aftermarket oil coolers on there audi and were did you get it from

 

you could go to to pepboys and buy filters that will supplement... or you just just buy like 4 or 5 at a time and last for like 8 months

there are plenty of audi oem parts places on the web, what i do is search till i find the best deal, and buy about 3 or 4 at a time

 

ok but what about the oil cooler would this help with the sludging after all the capacity would increase
