Default This may sound stupid but...

Would it be possible to stack 2 OEM audi 1.8T intercoolers on-top or side-by-side of each other opposed to having to drop some decent coin for a FMIC?
I was doing some investigating and have not found such a question asked before, however if the mechanical side of things allow for such a mod, the do-ability for it looks to be very capable. The 1.8T audi A4 b6 has plenty of room for another either to the side/above (just under the coolant reservoir, the body frame is exposed & even cleared for mounting) the existing one and or possibly even fitting it in front of the radiator in the front with lil to no modification to the bumper.

My idea was to install an OEM secondary intercooler either before or after the original OEM, and just mod the outflow right to the intake of the second and only interrupt one hose/side, (depending where the second one is install.)
Is this at all possible, or am I just totally missing the mark on this one? Would a second OEM intercooler work as I am suggesting- to cool the air at a lower temp? LMK your thoughts, if possible, I am def considering it.

I don't see why not. If you can get them plumbed together and it all fits, I'm sure the second intercooler will drop the intake air temps even more.
