Hi Guys & Girls

I need some help.
I have an Audi A3 year 2000 (X Reg). I didnt have a radio code when i bought it.
So today took it to an audi mian dealer to get this, i was told that the radio was in safe mode and that once i got home to leave my ignition on for a few hours ( left it for 2.5hrs) and the radio would reset it self so i can put the new code in.
Well guess what im still waiting.
Any ideas on what to do?????

You need to get the code. I looked in my user manual and called the dealerships that serviced the car for the previous owner. Just tell them the last 8 digits of your VIN and they may have record of the radio pin, also check any receipts that the previous owner left as they print the radio code on these. If you cannot get it, you will have to go to your dealer and have them look it up based on your VIN and Audi Stereo ID#.

Once you have the code follow the instructions mentioned earlier in the thread to reset.
