Yes there is a recall for this, it is called the JE recall, and it well take care of the front lower control arms, just take it to your local dealer and they should help ya out fo free.

 

Hey Ted were you also aware that u are allowed to book out a half a litre of the G12 coolant on this job also start doing it your parts manager will be very pleased instead of being in the minuses of coolant like i know we ushally are lol

 

LOL, i never got coolant with it, but i do get the suction jet valve, it is a good idea to replace it, cut down on the oil leaks.

 

yea you know those same suction jet pumps are the same # as the ones in the 1.8t's now I have to order those damm parts by vin so that just means i have to go out on the lot get a couple of vin's from the 1.8t and email them into audi I have email them on this and they are aware of it but i was told there is nothing they can do wtf [:@]
