if you use 5w-30 on your audi when do you change the oil every 3000 or 5000 miles and do you change the air filter as well??????

 

its part of the service mate oil/oil filter/air filter only if its badly clogged or old, 5w30 is good and change around 6k to 10k depending on quality of oil full synth recommended

 

I change every 5-6k

I may get flamed for this answer but I would never go over 3000 miles on any oil. I change oil and filter every 3000 and use a good low ash oil. I also replace one quart with a quart of Shaler Rislone and you will never see any signs of sludge or dirty oil. Any engine I have and most are over 100K the oil comes out just as clean as it goes in. Just my preference though...I maybe new here but not new to automotive and building engines Thanks...
