Default groaning noise

everytime i turn my steering wheel it makes a groaning noise, i havnt heard it at speeds 40+ wondering if it could be the power steering pump or the bushings on the steering, also the alignment is off to the right. and the other day it seemed as though it groaned at some bumps in a parking lot after a turn. please help the car is going in for a tune-up soon but i would like to find the problema and maybe fix it myself to save some cash.
thanks

It sounds like a power steering system problem. Perhaps you are low on fluid, check that and if it's low get some more fluid in there asap since power steering pumps don't take well to low fluid.

I really hope that is the problem because it is a viscious groaning noise at low speeds
