Oil change Procedure for 2006 S4
Does anybody know where I can find the oil change instructions for my 2006 S4. I have done 1000s of oil changes just like to have instructions before I do the first one 10,000 miles between oil change is way too much Thanks

Be like any other wouldn't it? Ie. get the car warmed up, remove the sump plug, drain it, change oil filter, replace new sump plug, fill oil? Or is it one of those new models where you have to pump the oil out through the top?
Pretty much I just want to make sure of one thing. They give you the rubber gasket that goes around the threads of the plastic housing just like my Porsche but they also provide a really large metat O Ring with the filter which is very usual. I have never seen such a large diameter O ring for the drain plug. Normally you have to buy the drain plug gasket seperately so I just want to know if the metal Oring is for the drain plug or for some other use in changing the oil filter. I just like to have all information before I try something for the first time.

Arnie, the instructions should be in the ower's manual, and a good Service/Repair manual would really help with repairs and maintenance items. Sorry I don't have more info on the S4.
