Here is the problem, 96 a4 oil light comes on today but oil level is fine this means it is an actual pressure problem. now how can i check the pressure to ensure it is not just a bad relay. i am traveling an must head back home tomarrow so i have got to try and get this fixed asap.

Take out the oil pressure sensor and hook up an oil pressure gauge. Then youll know whether you have senosr issues or wiring issues.

 

Get that checked out ASAP. You may have a failed oil pump like I did and require a new engine if you engine is starved of oil for too long.
