I have a 2006 Audi A4 2.0T with 60K miles. I was getting my oil changed today, and when they took my skid plate off, the part shown fell out.

It looks like a bolt and has the # 3393 and CE 02 on it. What is this part and is it important?

 

Its a tool called testing mandrel used for checking the alignment of sub-frame by inserting this tool in the three holes to check whether it is concentric or not.
