I've got a 2004 A4 3.0 that I'm replacing the P/S pump and hoses. When I removed the old pump I found 2 little spacers (almost like thick washers) just sitting under the pump. I'm wondering where they go? Does anyone have an exploded view of the P/S pump?

 

Just replaced my PS pump on my 2000 A6 4.2. Don't know if this helps, but it sounds like the washers for the banjo bolts that connect the fluid lines.
