I have a q5 out of maintenance which has problems with the xenon headlights - long story but both controllers are faulty and according to one of the 2 dealerships I have taken the car to one of the headlamps is also faulty. My question is can you downgrade the lamps to normal and is the non xenon option a lot cheaper and if you do downgrade can the computer be reset to not give the warnings that the xenon is not working. The next question is can that warning be disabled with the xenon in.
