Question about MMI update
I just bought a 2006 Audi A6 and I believe I have an old version of MMI. It has the warning screen you have to push agree to before it will work.
Also, when I have my iPhone 4 paired to it, I can call and everything, but the people on the other end cannot hear me talking. I read on the forums that it can be fixed by a software update.
Basically, what is the easiest and less risky way to update it other than the dealer?
The Maps aren't as big of an issue right now, but would like to get MMI updated if it will fix some bugs.
I really like it, works a lot better than other systems in Ford/GM vehicles. Only problem I have noticed is the BlueTooth and microphone I mentioned above.
