Default Questions about Pulleys...

1998 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro 30v

I recentry bought an OBX Pulleykit containing a altenator pulley, power steering pulley and an underdrive crank pulley. The problem is that the size of the aftermarket pulleys are smaller than the oem. The altenator pulley is the only one that appears to be the same size.

Will this mess up the valves, headsand timming???
Will i need a smaller belt???

That is why it is called an underdrive pulley because it is smaller. You will need a different sized belt. If I were you I would stick to OEM pieces.

LOL!!!!

This is only for your ACC belts, not your timing belt. So no, it will have no affect on cam or ignition timing. They underdrive them to get some top end HP freed up. Don't expect to much from them, but throttle response is much more crisp.
