I just bought a 99 a4 quattro auto and it needs some help from idle to about 2k, I know this is a 1.8t behind an auto transin an AWD car so one cannot expect too much but this car is pretty dismal.

do these cars just not make boost below 2k or what?

can someone give me some pointers on what to try please
