With all the electronics in these cars, how do remote starts fair? I have a 200 A6. Thanks

 

It wasnt too hard to do in mine, i can explain it to u if ur interested. If yours is a 2000 it probably has an immobilizer, but it isnt much more difficult.

 

OK thanks. I will do that as soon as I pick one up. Didn't want tot get one before I knew it would work or not.

I thought they put immobilizer's in starting 2001? I will double check.

 

Yeah im pretty sure immobilizers after 01, i didnt need to do that so im no help there. I did have to take the airbag and the steering wheel off to get to everything, and it takes a while. You gotta know 12volt wiring.
