Thanks for help. I have been successfully active the remote. But my new key only can open the door and switch on the electricity. When I going to switch on the engine, the engine only work for 3 seconds, and then stop. But if I used old key 1st, the new key can start the engine, but a singal is flashing (a car with a big key). The dealer said my new key needs re-coding. the cost is about 45pounds + vat. I have reactive the fob, do you think I can re-coding the key by myself? or others methods?Thanks.

 

its not the fob/remote that's ok its the transponder in the key that needs programming, put #1 key (the key you got with the car) in and turn ignition to place 1 then remove and replace it with the new key (you have 20 seconds to do it) this programs the chip in the key not the remote

Put the old key in, turn to place 1 (see nothing on the control pannel), and then turn back the old key in order to take it out from the ignition lock. And then insert the new key, turn to place 1? or start the engine? or others? Thanks a lot.

I was doing like that. Put the old key in, turn to place 1 (see nothing on the control pannel), and then turn back the old key in order to take it out from the ignition lock. And then insert the new key, turn it to place 1, and wait 30seconds, and thake it out. last try to start the engine, but still see the same problem.

Where should I start from? The remote activity procedures?
