Replacing oxygen sensor

Default Replacing oxygen sensor

Has anybody replaced an oxygen sensor on a 2000 Audi A6 2.7t. How hard is it to replace, I beleive the oxygen sensor is before the cat.

dont really know, but you should see what the guys on the s4 and A6 have to say. other than that, if you can see it. then it souldn't bee that hard.

You should be able to diy. It can't be taht hard min it right by my cats. I need to change it to. just been lazzzy

Get the audi oxygen sensor tool. It clears the heat sheild which most other tools dont do. From there its just a swivel and a long extension. The hardest part is wiring the new one in a path simialar to the old one. The old one is zip tied about 5 times and theyre a pain to cut off. I would just cut the sensor wire and pull it thru.
