i just bought a 1997 S8 and the guy gave me a receipt for a auto box repair, giving it warrantee !
he told me it was banging when changing gear and that he had had it fixed,
i drove it home and thought i had detected the same fault which he had described so i was going to call him the following day,
next day i gotr home from work jumped into the audi and pulled away from the house only to get up to 2nd gear followed by a ****** or a jolt as it slammed into 3rd !
then neutral !
just revs up in gear and wont go forward or backwards !
when i put it in drive and rev it up the gear indicator on the dash suddenly lights up all gears as though its not in just 1 gear but in all at once !
has anyone got anmy ideas or advice ?
