I noticed some slight high-pitched screeching sound today. Now, I know it may be time to change those brake pads. but the screeching sound doesnt happen everytime i brake. Sometimes its there, sometimes its not. So i guess, my question is - is this something i should change out asap? or i can i let it go for a few months. I dont drive much...i drive at the most, 2 miles a day. how long should i hold off from brake pad replacements? my next shceduled service is still 4,000 miles away...should i just wait until the sound happens more consistently to change pads?
