so my SAP is shot and it sounds like a hairier jet on cold start ups and im throwin a P1128 code

 

could this also cause my turbo to loose pressure (alot) and yes i already checked for obvious vacuum leaks

No, it won't cause your car to lose boost pressure. You should check the secondary air pump and make sure the casing is split instead of a hose that came loose.

 

i havent got time to check for air leaks by the air pump yet. but this morning when i started the car it did the whole whining and stuttering thing but this time the CEL would flash meaning the cat is being damaged but after the whining died down and the car stopped stuttering the CEL went back to being solid. Could this still be caused by just an air leak?

 

P1128 off the top of my head... i think is a Coolant Temp High Input Code...

and on 2.7's when the mileage gets around 70k the secondary air does get louder... not making it faulty.

i dunno the year / model you have...
