I had to replace my gas pump. My gas niddle says its empty, so I went to put gas in the tank and the pump stops around $8so I try to put more in and then it stops $10. My car had less than 1/4 tank when I drove it to the gas station and $10 doesn't fill it up. What's going on?[:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@]

Is it the sending unit[sm=smiley6.gif][sm=smiley6.gif][sm=smiley6.gif]if so how much is it going to cost and where can I get it from.

Someone please help me.

right now the niddle say I have a half tank. you cant get that from $10.

 

My car is doing the exact same thing. I have just been gauging off of mile driven. If you get an answer please let me know. It sucks driving around with a full tank of gas and your needle saying you are empty.

 

Mines doing same on 2002 TT. It "bounces" once its below 1/4. I'm trying the Techron treatment first.
I'm fortunate I have a few miles and time left on warranty so if its the FSU I'm getting them to replace it.

It seems to be a typcialAudi failure item.
