i followed directions to clear the service insp light by pushing the button twice, hold it and start the car then pull out the other button and it resets, but everytime i shut my car off and turn it on i have to reset it again it keeps coming back, what does this mean?

 

Well it seems you're doing it right, I'll reiterate what you're supposed to do and we'll check to see what might be the problem:

• Switch ignition off
• Press and hold down reset button for trip odometer (right side)
• Switch ignition on while button is pressed down
"Service OIL" should appear in the trip display
• Release button
• Pull setting **** (left side) until it is reset
"---" will be displayed when it is reset
• Press reset button (right side) to advance to next service event
"Service INSP" should appear in the trip dispaly
• Pull setting **** (left side) until it is reset
"---" will be displayed when it is reset
• Switch ignition off

 

ohhh ok i didnt advance to the next one i must have been only resetting the oil one.
