Service! Message??
So, I'm new to this whole Audi thing.
I just got a used 2002 A4 Quattro at about 141,000mi. It seems to be running really good but when I start and/or press the little wrench button on my dash it pops up with a "Service!" message. Why is that popping up and how can I fix it???

It's just a friendly reminder from your car that you should take it to the stealer.....er....dealer for service. It's tripped by the odometer for the most part. I think you have to have a VAG-COM device to reset it. The regular OBD computer devices, like the one I have, is not capable of resetting that register on the ECU. My 03 A8L tells me "Service" every time I get into it. It goes away in a few seconds. As long as you have no Check Engine Light or any other obvious problems with the running of the engine, just ignore it. Or you can find a shop with a VAG-COM unit and have them reset it.
