I also posted this question on the S secdtion. I have an 04 B6 S4 manual. It has a brand new clutch installed by an Audi dealer about 1000 miles before I purchased the car last week.
Whe I crank the steering way over to the left or right , then proceed to put the car in motion, I get a low frequency shudder that I can hear and feel throughout the car. It lasts only about a second, and if I continue in the same circle it goes away. The tires and wheels are stock and there is no ruibbing. The service manager tried the car and felt the same thing. They put it upon a lift to see if any thing was obvious and all lookd normal. Is this a normal quirk of the B6 or of AWD or should I be concerned . There is only about 5000 miles left on my warrantee, and want to catch this soon if it is a problem.
Any enlightnment here would be appreciated.
Thanks

Check the power steering fluid level. Add only 11S.

RE: shsuddering with wheel cranked
Thanks. I went and checked the fluid. Is fine. The shuddering does not occur just by cranking the wheel to full loce, it doesn't happen untill i start to move hwile turned. Its not the typical power steering noise. It'sa very low frequency. I was wondering if it has something to do with the all wheel drive system maybe dragging for a second on full wheel lock.
