Default Slight delay in acceleration from stop position: problem?

Hi - wanted to check in with you guys. I picked up an 09 a4 2.0T with 30k miles last wekend and I've noticed that there's just a slight half-snap-of-the-finger's length delay from pressing the gas pedal to acceleration from a stopped position. This doesn't happen when the car is already moving forward, only from a stop, and it also happens when reversing from stop. Is this common among audis or does it indicate an issue?
