Default STRANGEST PROBLEM EVER

I'm new to the site but you guys seem like you know alot.....
my 2002 a4 3.0 6spd is haveing a stupid problem with the door, it keeps losing power on the driver door (just the driver door) and i can't figure it out.
i was wondering if anybody had any problems with this at all. i figure it's probably a grounded wire. the strange thing is it keeps cutting out
and i have to beat the door to get it to work. and when i mean beat, i hurt my hand doing so. i'm tired of hitting my car b/c it's in such nice condition
but the worst part is that i can't roll my windows down or use the power locks now. i already pulled the panel off and found nothing. i'm wondering if the problem lies
within the main wire going out of the door. and i have already checked all my fuses. any help will do with this stupid driver door problem. thanks guys

Check where the wires go from the body to the door. They are in a black boot. Pull back the boot and check for broken wires.
