hi i have a2001 a6 4.2 that i'm doing a valve job on. i got the heads back from a a local m shop and i seem to be missing a piece. on the left head [drivers side] there's a hole with two bolt holes on either side.water, air? hole is on the side under an intake port.

is that where the water manifold goes? ( a little plastic coolant elbow sealed by an o-ring) ...sorry don't know the 4.2 real well

 

same thing shifter button stuck and i as well only have nutrul and drive
