Trans a little grind-y
Just picked up an '05 A4 1.8t Quattro (which I THINK is a B6 or maybe B7 , not sure or if it matters ...) , but when trying to shift it like my old Elantra (which was quick and smooth around 4-5K ) , it kinda grinds a bit . If I take my time and let the revs drop a bit it seems to fall into gear easier . Dude I bought it from said something about a quick-shifter from a previous owner , but I'm dubious . Did some digging , and apparently there's no adjustment at the pedal which was what I was thinking first . Anyhow , did I bring home a lemon or what ? Has other minor issues as well , so I'm glad I found this place .
