I have a 2002 A4 3.0 automatic. Recently I have a issue with the trans. When I put it in D the cluster shows 54321 with 1 Highlighted and will not shift out of 1. When I put it in Man. (tip) it does the exact same thing. And when I put it in S mode it works just fine. I have also found when I put it in D and move the shift lever halfway between D and N the cluster will show PRNDS with the D Highlighted for a second and disappears however the trans. works fine. but i have to hold it there. Does anyone know what the problem could be? This is very strange to me. Any help would be much appreciated.
