05 Audi S4 4.2l v8 runs rough multiple codes
So I received this audi with a fresh timing chain instal because of the guide cracking. It Cranked but didn't start. Messed with it for a while and figured out the timing was off. I ripped the valve covers off and put engine in time perfectly. Tried to start and it would immediately start then die. I knew I didn't have the reluctor wheels right on the back of the cam sprocket so I figured to dig a ill bit and see if I could find the right position for the reluctor wheels. Compared a couple pics and am hoping I have the reluctors close to the right position. No I do not have that tool and yes I did use tools for the camshafts and crank so I know 100% timing is mechanically correct. Anyways after adjusting reluctor wheels on intake camshaft sprockets finally got the car to start and run. It runs rough at idle and still has slight stumble at higher rpms but clears up more than idle. Also doesn't like to idle at all with maf plugged in. I unplugged the MAF which threw a MAF and Intake air temp code but it idles all by itself now. Has multiple codes in ecu as follows.
P0341 camshaft position sensor a circuit/range performance b1 or single sensor
P2414 o2 sensor exhaust sample error b1s1
P0301 cyl 1 misfire
P2231 o2 sensor signal circuit shorted to heater circuit b1s1
So my question is do I absolutely have to have the camshaft reluctor tool to properly adjust reluctor wheel to run fine. Also if reluctor wheel is off by even a 1/4 in. Would that make it run like **** and throw these codes or am I looking at electrical problems? Like I said before crank and cams are lined up perfectly. Any help is greatly appreciated and questions are encouraged!!!! Must get this fixed!!,
