hey all!

i have a 2001 a6 2.7t, and my check engine light has just come on, along with the gear indicator light up on the lcd display. This has caused my car to enter what i have just found out to be a 'limp home' mode.

i have just pulled the code and found it to be 'P0753'.

out of the list of possible causes that this has showen me, what is it more likely to be? and is this a common fault with audi's?

the list is:

Poor electrical connection

valve body damaged or dirty

faulty shift solenoid

if anyone out there could shed some light on this for me, that would be great!
